Green Electricity – Making a Difference
There has been a big surge in expectations that a diverse range of power generation methods – e.g. wind, solar, geothermal and other forms – will have a significant impact on companies' power markets in the next 10 years.
In the light of these complex and diverse structures in the international electricity market, the question of quality and the origin of energy products is gaining importance. Labels enable energy generators, distributors and consumers to identify and assess the electrical energy available on the market.
Our study aims to create a basis for decision-makers who wish to purchase electricity from renewable sources and who demand quality and reliability. The result provides a comparative analysis of different labels in relevant national and international markets as well as an overview of the country specific situation regarding renewable electricity. Approximately 30 countries in Europe, Asia, North America (USA) and Africa (South Africa) are covered by the survey.
