Our Commitment

PwC people are committed to helping improve the communities in which they live and work. Every year, hundreds of community projects around the world count on the participation of our people as volunteers, leaders, and facilitators. In response to the increasing number and growing diversity of local community projects that involve our people, PwC launched Global Communities. PricewaterhouseCoopers maintains a wide range of commitments in Switzerland too:

Environmental commitments

PricewaterhouseCoopers has set itself the goal of becoming the first CO2-neutral company in its sector; with this end in mind, it has joined together with "myclimate" to develop a CO2 programme to monitor the energy efficiency of its infrastructure and processes.

Economic commitments

PricewaterhouseCooperS' experts are involved in many consultations on reforms in Switzerland. We are partners in the Swiss Economic Forum (Thun), which promotes networking among Swiss businesses and also in the World Economic Forum (Davos), which fosters dialogue and the sharing of views among businesses globally. We join with Ypsomed Holding in awarding the Ypsomed Innovation Prize in Berne every year.

Social commitments

Above all else, PricewaterhouseCoopers has a responsibility towards its employees. All its efforts in this respect are summarised under the aspiration to be a "great place to work" and in the programme of the same name.

In addition, we have commitments in the following areas:
