About the programme

Our programme gives you the edge you need to become an international, well-rounded, well-networked Deals professional. There is no doubt that the programme will challenge you and stretch your capabilities, but it will also be a rewarding journey that will equip you for the next stage in your career. Have we captured your imagination? Would you like to learn more?

Watch the video and take a look at the brochure on the Edge programme.

The Edge programme was created to support the best and brightest graduates at the start of their careers by boosting their development from their first days with the PwC Deals business. It comprises a 3-year journey that begins with an International Deals Foundation event in Madrid in September 2017.

Here, you’ll meet another 150 graduates and PwC Deals leaders from across EMEA and get a taste of the work that you’ll be doing in the Deals business. Following that, you’ll commence in the Deals business at your local PwC firm where you will rotate through different Deals competency groups, doing a variety of project work with a variety of local and international clients and teams.

At PwC we’re inspired to help you grow into an international Deals expert and have designed Edge to give you a ‘helicopter’ view of our Deals business. This will mean you’ll continuously learn something new and exciting. To help you through this learning process, you will be supported by relevant training courses, as well as by a team of professionals offering mentoring and “buddy” support. Some of you will also have the

opportunity to take part in an international exchange programme and work in another European country for a period of six months - to be selected, you will need to perform at the highest level from the start of the Edge programme. Definitely something worth aiming for, right?

To ensure that you get the best technical training to complement what you learn on the job, we will support you in attaining a professional qualification (ACCA, CFA or CMA).

Upon the successful completion of the Edge programme and your professional qualification, you’ll be awarded the PwC Master of Deals certificate. Not only will this prove your professionalism and Deals capabilities, it will also support you as you pursue a rewarding career in one of the world’s most successful Deals businesses.
