Staff terms and conditions

Our compensation package stands comparison with the best

Individual working hours

PwC has a very progressive working time model revolving around individual annual working hours. This gives you – and us – a great deal of flexibility. Full-time employees are expected to work 2,050 hours a year, which is equivalent to 41 hours a week. Of course it's also possible to work part-time at PwC. Depending on your age and function, you will be entitled to 25 or 30 days holiday a year. Overtime is compensated financially or with time off in lieu.

Salary

Although we prefer to discuss the details with you in person, you can be assured of receiving a competitive salary and benefits package. PwC's philosophy is to ensure that you receive compensation in line with the market and commensurate with the requirements of your job and your performance. Depending on your function, PwC also pays bonuses for outstanding performances.

Fringe Benefits

As a large organisation, PwC offers attractive fringe benefits that will enhance your quality of life. The precise benefits you receive depend on your job profile, office and service line, and can include things like discounts on mobile phones, fee waivers on credit cards, free half-fare cards, and fleet discounts. You also have access to childcare services and crèches, and free drinks and fruit at the workplace.

Business expenses

Naturally PwC pays expenses connected with your work. You will be refunded expenses for business-related travel, food and accommodation, including meals with clients, business travel in your own car, and your mobile phone.

Social insurance

We offer social insurance benefits in line with the Swiss standard: alongside compulsory insurance for accidents at work, our staff are also insured for accidents outside work, including a private room if the accident necessitates a stay in hospital. Staff also benefit from preferential terms under our collective medical insurance scheme. The retirement age is 63 for both men and women, although early retirement is possible at 58.
