Tips on filling out the online application form
- Make sure you fill out the contact form and application form completely. Take as much care to be accurate and avoid mistakes as you would with all applications!
- Make sure that the email address you specify on the contact form is one you use regularly.
- Have your reports and transcripts ready so that you can enter the relevant information and grades quickly.
- Have your updated CV, your work references and certificates at hand so that you can send them in with the online application form.
- If youre making a spontaneous application, we recommend you first visit our website so that you can specify as precisely as possible which PwC service lines and offices you're interested in. We suggest you send us a short and concise letter of motivation in addition to the already mentioned documents.
Tips on our online assessment (only graduates)
- Make sure you have enough time, peace and quiet to concentrate on the assessment.
- Do the online assessment at home or in the library so that you’re not distracted.
- Make sure the Internet connection you’re using is stable.
- Whatever you do, do the assessment yourself! There will be tests later on in the application process to make sure the person at the interview is the one who did the test.
- Be yourself. There are no wrong answers! We’re simply trying to get to know you and get a picture of what you’re like.
Tips on the Meet PwC session and your interview
- Use our website and the job ad to help you prepare for the meeting. It can also help to talk to friends and acquaintances about their own experience.
- Prepare questions so that you can get a clear picture of the job and the firm during the interview. Take a pen and paper along to note down important points and questions.
- Get a good night’s sleep, and make sure you arrive for the interview on time. If you do find you’re running late, call the person who’s interviewing to let them know.
- Make sure you know what you’ve said about yourself! Go through your CV and other documentation carefully beforehand so that you can present a clear and convincing picture of yourself at the meeting.
- Dress appropriately for the meeting, but make sure you feel comfortable.
- Greet the person you’re talking to by name, or ask if you’re uncertain. Maintain eye contact.
- Be open and honest. Be yourself – not how you think other people expect you to be.
- Give precise examples from your working or private life.
- Don’t forget that it’s not a sign of weakness to be nervous: it’s perfectly natural before your first interview!
