Are auditors the better advisors?

For the first time the financial magazine BILANZ has presented an independent ranking of firms in the Swiss consultancy market. To rate the firms 118 CEOs and concern managers from Switzerland's largest companies were surveyed in detail. Customer satisfaction with specific projects was one of the main criteria. The result is very pleasing for customers of PwC: the second place in the ranking means PwC has not only established itself as leader among the 14 main consulting firms but also makes us the highest ranked provider with complete auditing and consulting competence.

This result confirms our strategy of increasing added value for our customers through extensive auditing and consultancy services. More specifically, the study identified the following advantages compared to pure consulting providers:

• Complexity of solutions: The particular know-how in auditing and taxation issues makes PwC the preferred consultancy partner for cross-linked problems.
• Security in money-related areas: The top position in the "Mergers & Acquisitions" and "Finance and Risk Management" categories reflects PwC's distinct focus on figures.
• Particular mutual trust: A high degree of dialogue competence is of extreme importance in auditing. PwC customers also benefit from this competence in consultancy mandates.
