At PwC, our purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems. Thus, corporate responsibility for us means a broad commitment to our employees, our business partners, our environment and the common good. We believe we can meet this commitment by creating a basis of give and take, of mutual respect and trust – and if all of us take responsibility on a daily basis as an enterprise, as managers, and as private individuals.
Our Corporate Responsibility takes the PwC Experience beyond our normal business setting − to create value for society.
PwC Switzerland’s corporate responsibility programmes and partnerships are an opportunity for us to give back to society. The best value we can contribute to society is our knowledge and expertise. So we believe by sharing our skills and experience we can contribute to sustainable and thriving communities.
In 2020 we have made a worldwide science-based commitment to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. The urgency of the climate crisis requires swift and ambitious action to reduce emissions now. To reflect this, our net zero commitment is underpinned by a science-based target to reduce our emissions by 50% in absolute terms from 2019 levels.
Being a responsible business means managing our operations ethically and with integrity, and recognising that our responsibilities extend into our entire value chain. It’s more than just doing the right thing; it’s understanding that the most significant contribution we make to society is through the work we do day in, day out.

Climate change and resource scarcity are major forces shaping our future. At PwC we’re determined to play our part. That’s why we’re raising our climate ambition, by making a worldwide science-based commitment to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, building on our existing global environment commitment.
At PwC Switzerland, we see inclusion and diversity as business imperatives not just nice-to-haves: we respect and value differences. We do so in the knowledge that we create the most value when people from different backgrounds and with different points of view work together. Be yourself. Be unique. At PwC Switzerland.
