Organise your work yourself: you decide when and where you want to do your tasks.

The Student Delivery Model (SDM) allows audit teams to handover specific tasks to students. This innovative collaboration enables highly flexible working hours. We give you the freedom to decide which tasks you want to complete and when. You can complete tasks in the university library after the lecture or directly from your desk at home.

We offer internships in all our line of services: Assurance, Tax & Legal Services, Internal Firm Services, Deals, Consulting and Digital Services.


How our Student Delivery Model works

What requirements do you have to meet

Have you already successfully completed an internship at PwC? Or are you looking for a student job that allows you to work flexibly? Perfect! Then you can apply as a working student for our Student Delivery Model! You’ll go through our standard interview process and if it’s a match, you’ll receive a job contract and a laptop from us.

What do you need to get started

It’s very easy to get started! You can login and access our SDM-Platform where you’ll see all available tasks and apply for the one you like best. And as soon as a new task is available, you will receive an email.

You decide when, where, how and how much you work

Work when it suits you! You can take tasks flexibly and above all you can work wherever you want. All you have to do is make sure that you follow the guidelines of the respective tasks. And due to Swiss tax regulations, you need to conduct the work in Switzerland.

You have questions about your task

Your contact person in the audit team is always available for further questions. You are, as in an internship, part of the audit team.

Task completed?

When you have completed your task, just send it back and it will be reviewed by the audit team. You will report the hours you needed for the task. Afterwards you will receive an hourly payment.

FAQ

When do I have to apply for the Student Delivery Model?

If you have already completed an internship at PwC, you can apply for your SDM position during your offboarding process or after your internship. If you do not yet have work experience with PwC, you can apply throughout the year, but the deployment will mainly take place during our “busy season” from around October to May.

How long will my SDM deployment last?

Mainly during our “busy season”, from October to May.

Is it a temporary or permanent position?

It is a temporary position, but we would be happy if you would do multiple deployments with us.

From which semester on can I apply for the Student Delivery Model?

As of your fifth semester at a university or a university of applied sciences or after completing your studies.

Do I have to have already completed an internship in auditing to be part of the Student Delivery Model?

This is an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement.

What are the requirements for employment in the Student Delivery Model?

  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Commitment to delivering high quality
  • Well organised
  • Analytical thinking and ability to absorb information
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent language skills depending on the region (English and/or German and French)
  • Reliability and integrity

Which field of study do I need to have?

Preferably studies in the field of economics with a focus on finance & accounting, controlling, banking etc.

How much work is to be expected?

You can plan your work flexibly yourself.

How do I get paid?

The remuneration is based on hourly wages.
