About the PwC Academy's Diversity & Inclusion Course

PwC Switzerland is pleased to announce the launch of third edition of the Diversity & Inclusion Course. This new edition will be conducted in collaboration with other members of the PwC network: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Turkey and the UK.

This 7 module training has been built for professionals from all industries and company sizes with interest in building and managing a diverse and effective workforce. It offers the opportunity to learn how to make a workplace inclusive to all and provides you with practical tools and techniques, backed by academic research, proven to drive change in the workplace.

This edition of the Diversity & Inclusion Course has been redesigned based on our D&I maturity model in order to better support organisations in their D&I journey.

General information

New 2021 edition

This new 2021 edition of the Diversity & Inclusion Course includes 7 modules. All the details are available in the tab section below. To accommodate as best as possible your schedule, we will run each module twice: once on Tuesdays from 9.00 to 11.00 am (CEST) and once on Thursdays from 2.00 to 4.00 pm (CEST).

This course will be held in English.

Cost

The price of this course is CHF 1200.- (approximately € 1085)*. You also have the possibility to register for individual modules for the price of CHF 200.- (approximately € 180)* per module. If more than one person from a particular organisation registers for the same module(s), a discount of 20% will be granted to each participant. If your organisation is eligible for this discount, please get in touch with us before completing the registration form.

* Kindly note that the price in euro may vary depending on the exchange rate.

Cancellation policy

You can cancel your registration without any fee until 4 weeks before the course. Between 4 and 2 weeks before the course you will be charged a fee of 50% of the course price, and after that you will have to pay the full price if you cancel. You may name someone to attend in your place.

Learning objectives

To unlock the benefits of Diversity & Inclusion in your organisation, you need a D&I strategy. But how can you develop an effective D&I strategy? And what strategic levers do you need to prioritise for a succesful implementation?

After attending this module, you will:

  • Be able to apply a comprehensive D&I maturity model to define a clear strategy
  • Understand the strategic implications of key D&I trends
  • Be able to identify and prioritise strategic levers to make the D&I strategy a reality
  • Recognise the critical role of leaders as drivers of your D&I transformation (inclusive leaders)

Module 3 Building and maintaining an inclusive culture in a virtual setting

Learning objectives

The rapid shift to remote working challenged our ideas of what an inclusive culture looks like. How can we reach a concept of inclusive culture that works in both the office and the virtual environment? And how will we make sure our culture is resilient to future shocks and uncertainty?

After attending this module, you will:

  • Be able to analyse a theoretical model of inclusive culture and the dynamics between individual, team and external contextual influences
  • Understand the key drivers for human collaboration and why creating a psychologically safe culture pays off
  • Understand how to navigate the benefits and challenges of remote work in support of an inclusive culture (biases, challenges for different diversity facets, micro-behaviours)
  • Be able to develop practical strategies to create an inclusive culture across both the office and remote contexts and future-proof it against the unexpected

  • Be able to analyse how to take into account the different stakeholder's expectations to avoid controversy
