For every CHF 100k that a man earns in Switzerland, the woman earns CHF 87.5k.. (Source for data on 12.5% gender pay gap: Federal Statistic Office, Switzerland 2014)

66% of employees would not apply for a job if they knew that there was a pay gap (PwC 2016). 

Therefore, equal pay is a key driver for the level of engagement, motivation and intention to stay with an organisation. It also impacts on business performance at a company and societal level.
