The PwC People Analytics Training is a one-day program in which you will use state-of-the-art data analytics tools and techniques to create actionable insights based on your workforce data. It aims to inspire a new way of thinking to find innovative ways to identify risks, opportunities, to surface value from people data, and to communicate the results in an attractive and efficient manner. Additionally, the program has a game element: the 'People Analytics Game', where participants get to practice their new skills in competition!
Our hands-on training focusses on one of the current biggest business challenges around the workforce: employee retention. Employee retention has become a top priority for HR professionals for years and the current ‘Great resignation wave’ only amplifies the need for deriving quality insights from turnover data. People tend to make assumptions about their workforce and why employees resign. Often decisions are based on those unvalidated assumptions and rather on ‘gut feeling’. But to make truly evidence-based decisions it is essential to let the data speak for itself!
In this training, we will teach you how to test your assumptions on turnover with data and how develop relevant retention models based on a practice dataset. Depending on your technical expertise, we will also cover predictive and prescriptive scenario-modelling which allows you to proactively assess the impact possible preventive actions. We also train you in visualising the analytics results you created and turning them into actionable retention insights, using the concept of ‘myth busting’.

For those of you who already master the skills to create e.g. descriptive and trend analysis, we will introduce you to more advanced statistical modelling techniques that allow to derive actionable retention insights. |

Our training is open for all functions within HR, ranging from HR data specialist and HR manager, to CHRO, Head of Recruitment or Reward specialists. We require all participants of the PwC People Analytics Training to have a data-oriented mindset. Basic experience with Power BI and basic experience with Python, R, SQL or another programming language is a plus, but not required
We will set up a call with all participants 1-2 weeks before the course to understand your expectations and the level of your technical expertise. The training content will then be further tailored to match your expectations and expertise.
