Growing your business often means growing your international mobile workforce – and that means fulfilling local social security obligations, a cost that is often higher than a company’s corporate tax budget. But social security compliance is more than simply getting a Certificate of Coverage (CoC) or A1. The ability to demonstrate robust processes and record-keeping for paying contributions in the right location and on the right compensation base, which is not necessarily the same as the compensation base for tax, is becoming increasingly important. In an environment where regulations change continuously and scrutiny from the authorities is on the rise, it’s becoming harder to get it right.
You are warmly invited to join Natalia Graf, Tomm Adams, Alan McAllin, Ulrich Buschermöhle and June Bood – specialists in the People & Organisation and Social Security teams of PwC Switzerland, UK, and Germany – on 20 September 2018 at our offices in Zurich Oerlikon for breakfast and an interactive programme to discuss some of the major challenges and trends in social security both globally and closer to home in Switzerland and Germany.
Our team will specifically address key topics such as the EU regulation trends/news and the Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information (EESSI) as well as the potential impact of these and other initiatives on your organisation. They will also speak to the increase of digital social security processes so that you are better equipped to assess whether your current processes are sufficient to meet your employer obligations compliantly, efficiently and cost-effectively.
