Angelo Mathis

Angelo is a Senior Manager at PwC Switzerland working in the Responsible AI space within digital assurance and risk services. An electronic engineer by training, he designs and delivers data-driven assurance solutions that increase transparency, protect revenues and strengthen trust in complex digital operations.

Angelo has over 30 years of experience and has led projects from assessments to large transformation programmes for clients in energy and utilities, telecommunications, health care, retail, trading and public services.

Before joining PwC, Angelo held technical and management roles in the telecom industry, progressing from software engineer to operations manager. He advises on revenue assurance, performance measurement, controls and the use of data analytics to understand and improve end-to-end processes.

Focusing on the digital transformation of systems and controls and the responsible use of AI, he applies his expertise in process and risk analysis, change management, IT assurance, revenue assurance and data analytics. Angelo holds an MSc in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and an Executive MBA from the Rochester-Bern Executive MBA Program and has completed training in artificial intelligence and data science.

Angelo is an active member of the information security community and is interested in how emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain and drones can be applied securely and responsibly to create sustainable value.
