Your benefits

Flexible working hours

Our client-friendly approach determines that we deliver our services on time. Therefore, with final reports and tax returns due, the run-up to the end of a financial year can be a busy period. If this results in overtime, you’ll get time off to compensate.

With us, your annual working hours – including five weeks’ vacation – amount to 2,050 hours. That’s around 8.2 hours a day. To further increase flexibility, all employees have the possibility to purchase up to five extra vacation days per year.

Feel comfortable with us!

You’ll get special PwC fitness centre rates, fresh coffee, tea, healthy fruits and nuts. Our after-work parties will help you unwind in a pleasant social atmosphere.

Your business travel via public transport will be first class, and there are also concessions on hotels, flowers, glasses and much more.

Our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is available around the clock to support any employee with personal or professional problems.

A good salary for a good performance

For us, discretion is everything. Therefore, your personal salary arrangements with us remain confidential. Your performance oriented earnings will be market competitive and in line with your qualifications and experience. Exceptional performance will be rewarded with a bonus.

For me, flexibility is all about finding the appropriate way to manage my time, my clients’ time, potential meetings and everything else that’s on my agenda. For PwC, it is of great importance to make flexible ways of working possible.

We are equal-salary certified!

Equal Salary Certification

Our vision is to be an equal opportunity and equal salary employer. To show our commitment for our vision, we strived for Equal-Salary certification, an external audit of equal pay between men and women.

We are proud to announce that as of 29 October 2018, we are entitled to carry the “equal-salary certified” label. This means, for the same job in your team and considering your age, years of experience and other factors, we pay the same total compensation irrespective of your gender.

My vision as CEO of PwC Switzerland is to be an equal opportunity and equal salary employer. I am proud that we have achieved an official certification of equal compensation between women and men by the Equal-Salary Foundation. With the external certification, we are demonstrating our commitment to walk the talk of our diversity strategy and are a role model for solving gender discrimination across the globe.

Andreas Staubli, CEO PwC Switzerland

Flexible working model and time off

Given that our needs and requirements are very diverse across the firm, a Hybrid Flexible Model emerged as the ideal solution. This model enables us to spend part of our time working in the office and part at home (provided this is our preference) – unless we’re at our clients’ premises, which is of course always the priority.
