At PwC, our purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems. Thus, corporate sustainability for us means a broad commitment to our employees, our business partners, our environment and the common good. We believe we can fulfil this commitment by building a foundation of give and take, mutual respect and trust - and by taking responsibility every day as a business, as leaders and as individuals.
Our Corporate Sustainability takes the PwC Experience beyond our normal business setting − to create value for society.
PwC Switzerland’s corporate sustainability programmes and partnerships are an opportunity for us to give back to society. The best value we can contribute to society is our knowledge and expertise. So we believe by sharing our skills and experience we can contribute to sustainable and thriving communities.
In 2020 we announced a network wide commitment to achieve net zero GHG emissions, with near-term science-based targets set for 2030 in line with a 1.5-degree scenario to prevent the worst impacts of climate change, as set out in the Paris Agreement. In July 2021, our near-term emission reduction targets were independently validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
Being a responsible business means managing our operations ethically and with integrity, and recognising that our responsibilities extend into our entire value chain. It’s more than just doing the right thing; it’s understanding that the most significant contribution we make to society is through the work we do day in, day out.

Climate change and resource scarcity are major forces shaping our future. At PwC we're determined to play our part. That's why we're raising our climate ambition, making a worldwide commitment to achieve net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions with near-term science-based targets set for 2030.
At PwC Switzerland, we see inclusion and diversity as business imperatives not just nice-to-haves: we respect and value differences. We do so in the knowledge that we create the most value when people from different backgrounds and with different points of view work together. Be yourself. Be unique. At PwC Switzerland.
