Join us and stay connected
The PwC alumni community is an opportunity for you to connect with former and current employees, ask questions, share your insights and visions, seek inspiration and develop new goals.
What is something surprising that most people don’t know about you?
I only got my Swiss passport in December 2024, which means that until then, I wasn't able to vote. This is somehow strange because I'm very interested in political topics but didn't have a say until recently. It's funny because some of my friends would always tell me that I'm more Swiss than any actual Swiss person.
How did you stay connected with PwC and benefit from the alumni network?
Over the years I built a lot of relationships, and some of my work colleagues became friends. When I left, I stayed in touch with all of them on a personal basis. Another channel that allowed me to stay connected to PwC was the alumni network. Receiving the newsletter meant that it somehow felt like I had never completely left PwC.
Why did you return to PwC?
Coming back wasn't something I had planned — it was more of a coincidence. I never excluded the possibility of returning because I always liked working here. I remember one evening I had dinner with a former colleague, and during that evening she asked me if I would consider coming back. A few conversations later, I realised: yes, I want to come back. And now I can confirm it was the right decision.
Continue to stay open, flexible and curious. Listen to your gut feeling and do not overanalyse every decision. Opportunities will come naturally then.
