Birsena's passion for creativity lead her to become an auditor. Discover her story:
When did you discover your passion for creativity?
I discovered my passion for creativity at an early age. Drawing, painting and singing were my favourite hobbies. But I kept my talent to myself, as my own little secret. Until my teachers blew my cover.
My hobby depended on my mood. When I was stressed or sad, I drew or painted. When I was happy and felt confident, I sang. After my family heard me sing at a counsin’s wedding, I performed at every family wedding. When I was older, I started to design and sew my own clothes, and even staged a fashion show at school.
How did creativity lead you to become an auditor?
Drawing, painting and sewing taught me the power of taking the lead and working with en-durance. Singing taught me how to work hard and set ambitious goals.
As a little girl, I asked my uncle, “What should I be when I grow up: a doctor or a popstar?” “It depends on what you want to achieve,” he said. “I just want people to smile and be thankful for something I did for them,” I said. As it turned out, I became an auditor.
