PwC Corporate Finance advises Groupe E and Romande Energie on the disposal of their jointly owned subsidiary CISEL
Geneva | A team of PwC Switzerland led by Martin Frey, Partner Corporate Finance/M&A, acted as lead advisor to Groupe E and Romande Energie (“Groupe E and Romande Energie”), two major Swiss utilities groups, in the disposal of their jointly owned subsidiary, Cisel to the management team. Founded in 1971, and headquartered in Matran (Fribourg), Cisel benefits from two locations and c. 80 employees.
With more than 45 years of experience, Cisel is a recognized player in the IT services market in Western Switzerland, providing services in the fields of infrastructure, hosting and cloud, managed services, ERP integration, digitalization and sale of material and licenses.
The acquisition of Cisel by its highly experienced management team will allow the company to continue supporting its c. 100 customers, further develop its range of services and strengthen its position as a key player in Western Switzerland.
