Successful Deals with PwC: Coop announces the acquisition of Swiss DIY chain Jumbo from Maus Frères SA.

Coop, the Swiss retail and wholesale group, announced the acquisition of Swiss DIY chain Jumbo from Maus Frères SA.

Jumbo operates 40 DIY stores across Switzerland. During the period of the official check being conducted by the competition authorities, Coop will engage in further planning. Financial terms were not disclosed. PwC supported Coop over a three month period from January to March 2021 with financial, tax and pension due diligence, SPA advice and negotiation support. PwC Switzerland’s key success factor was a very trusted client relationship build over many years.
