PwC Switzerland is pleased to announce that it has acted as lead advisor to the shareholders of KEBO AG, a leading manufacturer of high-performance injection moulds, on the merger with Plastisud Group.
Founded in 1979 and located in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Switzerland, KEBO is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance injection moulds for the medical, pharmaceutical, laboratory and thin-wall packaging industries. Over more than four decades, KEBO has built an international reputation for precision engineering, innovative hot-runner technologies and premium Swiss quality, serving leading global manufacturers with complex, high-cavitation tooling solutions.
Plastisud, headquartered in Castelnaudary, France, is a leading provider of high-speed, high-precision multi-cavity injection moulds, specialising in closures, medical applications and thin-wall packaging. With approximately 200 employees and a strong global customer base, Plastisud has established itself as one of the industry's leading mould manufacturers, supported by significant investments in research and development and advanced manufacturing capabilities.
The acquisition represents a significant strategic milestone for both companies and creates a leading supplier of high-performance injection moulds and hot-runner solutions with a combined workforce of around 300 employees. By combining Plastisud's industrial scale, global commercial footprint and complementary product portfolio with KEBO's recognised expertise in Swiss precision mould engineering and innovation, the transaction creates a strengthened platform for serving customers across the medical, pharmaceutical and packaging sectors. The combination is expected to accelerate product innovation, broaden technological capabilities and enhance customer support worldwide.
The shareholders of KEBO selected Plastisud as the ideal long-term partner to build on the company's strong heritage while providing employees and customers with continuity and new growth opportunities. The transaction further reinforces Plastisud's position as a leading European mould manufacturer with an expanded technological offering and strengthened presence in the medical, pharmaceutical, and laboratory markets.
The transaction was closed on June 30, 2026. The parties have agreed to keep the transaction details confidential.
