SBW Haus des Lernens AG, headquartered in Romanshorn, Switzerland, is a leading Swiss educational institution offering tailored education from kindergarten through the Swiss Matura and vocational training. Its learner-centred educational philosophy places a strong emphasis on individual support, personal responsibility and self-directed learning.
Dukes Education Group Ltd., headquartered in London, UK, is an international education group operating a family of independent nurseries, schools, and colleges across the UK, Europe, and North America. The group provides high-quality education from early years through secondary education while preserving the individual identity and educational philosophy of its member schools.
The transaction comprises the carve-out and sale of SBW Haus des Lernens AG’s two German private schools, International School Westpfalz, based in Landstuhl, and Jules Verne Campus, based in Munich, to Dukes Education Group Ltd..
The transaction enables SBW Haus des Lernens AG to complete the sale of two of its well-established German private schools, while ensuring continuity for the schools, their students, employees, and other stakeholders. For Dukes Education Group Ltd., the acquisitions mark its entry into the German market and further strengthen its presence in continental Europe, supporting the group’s long-term growth strategy in the international education sector.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial terms of the transaction.
