PwC Switzerland is pleased to announce that it has acted as lead advisor to Corvaglia Group, a globally recognized provider of innovative closure solutions for beverage packaging, in its strategic partnership with Wisecap, a leading European manufacturer of plastic caps and closures for the beverage industry.
Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Eschlikon, Switzerland, Corvaglia Group offers a fully integrated value chain from concept and design to mould making, closure production, and final bottle application. The Group operates facilities in Switzerland, the US, and Mexico, and employs over 300 people worldwide. Approximately 20 percent of all PET bottles for soft drinks globally are fitted with Corvaglia closures.
Wisecap, founded in 1977 and based in Piacenza, Italy, operates six production plants across Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Egypt. With more than 80 production lines, Wisecap produces over 15 billion caps annually, serving over 600 customers in 50 countries and employing more than 300 people.
Under the partnership agreement, Wisecap will integrate Corvaglia Closures Eschlikon AG’s caps manufacturing activities into its European production network. In return, Corvaglia Group will take a minority stake in Wisecap and contribute its leading injection moulding technology and innovative closure designs to the Group. This collaboration strengthens long-term supply solutions and innovation capabilities for beverage customers across Europe while reinforcing Corvaglia’s growth in mould making in Switzerland and closure production in the US and Mexico.
The transaction was signed on November 12, 2025, and is expected to close in early December, subject to customary consultation procedures. The parties have agreed to keep the transaction details confidential.
