Thomas Berndt is the Director of the Institute for Law and Economics at the University of St. Gallen (ILE-HSG). As part of university and extra-university education and training, he teaches and researches in various areas of corporate sustainability reporting. Moreover, he supports international companies in preparing sustainability reports in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

Andreas Weyer is a research associate and PhD candidate at the Institute for Law and Economics at the University of St. Gallen (ILE-HSG). As part of his academic activity, he has published numerous articles on accounting, auditing, and sustainability reporting, including articles in the "Zeitschrift für Internationale Rechnungslegung" (IRZ), the "Zeitschrift für Corporate Governance" (ZCG), the journal "Betriebs-Berater", and the "Center for Corporate Reporting" (CCR).

Aragón Djamchidi is a Research Associate and PhD Candidate at the Institute for Law and Economics at the University of St. Gallen (ILE-HSG). His academic work focuses on a range of topics, including accounting, auditing, and sustainability reporting.

Christophe Bourgoin is leading PwC Switzerland's Sustainability Platform and has more than 20 years of experience in providing capital market and deals related support, accounting technical advice and business assurance to large clients across Europe and the United States. He has successfully led and managed European cross-border equity and debt offerings, post-acquisition and accounting advisory projects for private equity firms and publicly listed groups, strictly adhering to set timelines, needs and reporting requirements.

Astrid Offenhammer is a Director in PwC's Sustainability & Strategic Regulatory Services Team. With a background in management and law, she provides strategic guidance to private and public sector clients across Switzerland and Europe, navigating the complexities of sustainability regulations. She specializes in sustainability reporting and due diligence, bringing profound experience across multiple industries in assessing and implementing the regulatory requirements of Swiss, EU, and international frameworks.

In her role as Assurance Partner, Petra Schwick has over 20 years of experience in auditing local and multinational companies in different industries. As the ESG Assurance market leader for our industry clients in the Eastern part of Switzerland she and her team support our audit clients on their way to become CSRD assurance ready or to comply with the continuously evolving Swiss regulation covering non-financial reporting. 

Antonios Koumbarakis is a Partner, leading the Sustainable Capital & Sustainable Finance Initiative, Sustainability & Strategic Regulatory (S&SR) team and is a member of the Sustainability Competence Center (SCC) within PwC Switzerland. In this context, he advises financial institutions, corporates, regulatory authorities, central banks and governments in Switzerland and Europe in the area of sustainability, sustainable finance, net-zero, biodiversity, circular economy and regulatory initiatives. He is leading several ESG transformation projects on an operational and strategic level and is representative of PwC in several associations and working groups.

Marcel Meyer has more than 24 years of experience in auditing and advising domestic and international clients in the Financial Services industry. Marcel has worked extensively with regulated Swiss and Liechtenstein clients as well as alternative investment fund structures and supports clients in all industries in the area of ESG and Sustainability topics. His main focus is the ESG related regulation and reporting aspects as well as decarbonisation, climate risk and transformation across the value chain.

Maya Uttinger is a Senior Manager in PwC’s Sustainability & Climate Change team. With more than 12 years of experience in sustainability consulting, assurance, and ESG leadership roles, she advises organizations on sustainability-related regulatory and compliance requirements. She specializes in governance and assurance, helping clients navigate complex requirements, strengthen internal processes and controls, and integrate sustainability considerations into their business.

Yiğit Can Yüceyurt is a Manager at PwC’s Digital Hub in the Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory (CMAAS) team.

In this role, he specialises in financial and non-financial reporting, GRC processes and data integration, helping clients to implement digital tools that streamline reporting and compliance efforts. He also leads cross-functional teams in the automation of workflows and the alignment of data pipelines with regulatory requirements and group-wide standards.
