We talked to them about trusted leadership, distinctive outcomes, and growth and development.

What does trusted leadership mean to you?

Demyan: It’s about fostering relationships built on mutual trust. I believe that leaders should create an environment where all voices are respected, everyone feels included, and decision-making is understood and supported by the team.  

Raphaëlle: For me, trusted leadership is about integrity, transparency, and empathy. It involves valuing and listening to all team members and supporting each other.  

Oliver: I echo Raphaëlle’s take. I’d add that empowering others, and fostering growth is important too. For instance, while managing a global initiative, I prioritised transparent communication and ensured that team members felt confident sharing ideas and making decisions. With this, I was able to guide the team toward innovative solutions while building trust and achieving our objectives.

How do you deliver distinctive outcomes as a PwC Professional?

Raphaëlle: Recently, I organised a team workshop to encourage strategic thinking and innovation. I worked with others to plan and execute the initiative, coordinating and communicating with team members. The workshop successfully defined our strategic approach and generated new ideas.

Demyan: As an auditor, I ensure that my teams and I deliver high-quality work with objectivity, professional competence, and care. By adhering to our policies, I effectively manage risks and maintain the integrity of our processes. I promote healthy ways of working and support a balanced work-life environment for our team by encouraging smarter working methods and flexible scheduling.

Oliver: Delivering distinctive outcomes requires expertise, collaboration, and understanding. In my work, understanding my colleagues perspectives and values is crucial. By aligning individual contributions with organisational objectives, I help to create an environment where everyone can thrive.  

How does PwC support you in your professional growth and development?

Oliver: I highly value the mentorship I receive, global collaboration, and access to valuable education. These resources help me to expand my expertise and encourage continuous learning.  

Raphaëlle: There are many growth opportunities like Leadership Development programmes and specialised training in areas like ESG. These are particularly beneficial because they are customised to individual needs and help develop essential soft skills and core behaviours.

Demyan: The opportunities for continuous learning are vast, including secondments, trainings and more. This fosters a culture of mentorship and coaching which I value a lot. Additionally, our firm’s commitment to inclusion and diversity ensures that I am part of a dynamic and supportive community that values different perspectives and experiences.
