Targeted set-up of your new software

Based on our long-term experience as an Abacus partner, we proceed according to the following steps:

  • Analysis and conception: We work together with you to create the basis for a successful project.
  • Implementation: We configure Abacus appropriately, properly and define each individual interface.
  • Integration: We test your solution, migrate the data and ensure seamless operations. This includes training for all users.
  • Production: At the end, we hand over to you the solution and conclude the project.

You can also contact our support department even if we did not install the system: with or without a check-up – as you wish.

We offer specific events to keep you up-to-date, for example, with our Abacus year-end workshops. At these events, you will find out the latest legal changes, news from Abacus Research and news related to accounting, human resources and payroll, taxes and social insurance.

Your plan B in the event of an emergency

If key employees are temporarily unavailable, your system suddenly stops working or you have urgent questions, you will have a quick and easy access to our professionals. For example, we can help you with your next payroll run with a short notice, or help you correctly calculate the expatriates’ taxes.

The many facets of Abacus software

The way in which you use Abacus is entirely up to you. We offer you the right system as well as interfaces, specialised consulting, industry-specific solutions and standards, such as a chart of account or VAT returns.

With you on-site

With this local solution, Abacus is installed on your servers. You make all of the decisions regarding updates, security guidelines and the way the system looks – according to your strategy.

Software as a Service (SaaS)

With an online solution, you avoid installation costs, updates and patching. Because we take care of those tasks for you. There are two operating models to choose from:

  • With WebAccounting, you use our infrastructure and receive automatic backups and much more.
  • With the Platform as a Service (PaaS) model, we operate a server at our facilities that you use with your own licence. Abacus is pre-installed on this server.
Flexible outsourcing

With this model, we work with you in order to let you focus on your core competencies. In other words, you decide what you want to do yourself, and what you want to hand over to us (see graphic).

Abacus combined with other systems

Working in a modern manner means networking systems intelligently. To this end, we have developed a flexible online platform. We use this platform to exchange data with you in real time and to share this data with Abacus – for example, from your web shop, your industry-specific solution or your electronic banking system.
